Swimming Pools
The Waterman works with many of the major pool installers in the
area. Our drivers are knowledgeable and always willing to give you and
your crew any assistance they can. Directions can be left with our
dispatchers asking drivers to pull vacs
if it is not possible for you to be
there. It is always our objective to help the installers in
any way possible.
Ponds
The
Waterman has the resources available to fill ponds of any
size. By
having the pond filled quickly through the use of multiple
vehicles, it will
prevent soil erosion that can occur with Mother Nature is
left to handle
the
time table. Please call for special quotes for jobs of this
type.
Potable Drinking Water
During the course of our season, we supply many customers with potable
drinking water for special events such as concerts, campgrounds,
festivals, etc. The Waterman works in conjunction with the DNR
and
adheres to all their guidelines for the delivery of the
water. It is necessary
that
each tanker is sanitized. The process requires approximately
six
hours. Additionally, each load of water is chemically tested
for chlorine
levels (PPM) and adjusted to comply before delivery. Please

Irrigation
We
have the capabilities of doing lawn, tree or shrub
irrigation. This is
accomplished by the use of a water cannon. The cannon is
capable of
reaching distances up to 150 ft away from the truck. For
jobs where the
site
is not accessible from the truck, additional hose can be
laid out giving
us a
radius exceeding 600 ft.
Construction
There are multiple uses for water in the construction
industry. Temporary
fire
protection for new buildings, hydro testing for pipelines,
dust control
at
road construction sites, temporary maintenance of water for
municipalities doing work on their systems, etc. The
Waterman also has
the
ability to supply holding tanks ranging from 300 gallons to
21,000
gallons. These tanks can be leased and placed anywhere that
will meet
your
